Is the C of E really credible as a Christian organisation ?.

Jesus, upon finding the doors of the temple locked, told the Priests "This is the house of God, everyone is welcome. Keep the doors open.".
The Church of England however, believes that as far as those seeking a place ti pitch their tent are concerned, the doors (and gates) should be firmly locked-shut' Instead of welcoming the anti-globalisation protesters, they are threatening them with Court action should they not remove themselves immediately.
A 'welcoming Christian attitude to the world'?, I think not.

Or, could the reason be that the Church itself is as guilty of pilfering the pennies of the poor as the largest Corporation ?.
The C of E is the largest landowner in the UK, with many Churches and alms houses in it's possession. Yet each week it encourages the poor to give their money on the promise of a place in Heaven, even though there is no actual proof of it's existence. Thus, the poor get poorer and the Church gets richer.
Is this what God wants?. No-one knows, but I bet he is not that impressed.
