Been quite a week.

Been quite a week here. BG finally got round to fixing the cooker only for it to go bang the very next day, so today they came again and had another look. Turns-out the BG engineer who first tried to fix it from the back had left-off yet another neutral wire. This in turn was touching another live wire and when the corresponding hotplate was turned-on, it subsequently went bang.
BG gave us a voucher towards a new cooker due to the damage caused by their engineers whilst trying to effect what was it reality, a simple repair.. New cooker arrives Thursday.

Managed to break the bed, so will be hauling that apart tomorrow in order to repair the side support bar and to cap-off the week, I managed to bust the door handle off my van. Not a problem until you realize it is the drivers side one.

Jobs for the weekend -

1. Repair bed - have all tools and fixings ready for the morning.
2. Check out spec of PCs in back of van to see if they have any resale value (they are all PII's)
3. Remove wiring from scrap electrical items and de-sheath.
