On a serious note, HMRC are planning to hunt-down anyone who sells a few trinkets for pocket money. Having failed to nail Harry for Tax evasion, they have decided to see how many eBayers and home-party holders they can screw a few quid out of.
I have no problem paying Tax, but do have issues with the likes of Vodaphone, Boots and Tescos (to name but three) avoiding millions in UK taxes.
If the Chancellor grew some bollocks and went after these Tax dodgers, the British economy would be better-of to the tune of £10Bn. Or, enough to fund the building of 100 new hospitals, or employ several thousand new nurses or paramedics or Police officers.
The reluctance of George Osborne to go after these parasites makes me wonder just whether or not the Tories are getting back-handers from these companies in order to allow them to 'reduce' their Tax liabilities.
