Con-Dem mid-term review.

Watched David Cameron on the TV today. He boasted that the Govt. are starting the new year with a full tank of fuel ready to run to the end of their term.

Well, I'm glad someone has enough money for a full tank of fuel, because the rest of us fucking well can't. His whole attitude to the working class (without whom, Britain would starve to death) & the pensioners (who have contributed to the economy all their working lives) is un-bloody-believable.

'Cut the benefits' he cries. 'We will help the pensioners to save' he boasted. So Dave, explain to us all how a pensioner can save when the Tories have frozen their state pensions to pay for the lower Tax threshold for the lower working class.
Add to that the fact that those yet to retire will be subject to 'grab-back' if they have private pensions that push their total pension payout to over £144 p/w.
Basically the Tories will deduct £1 from the state pension for every £1 you earn over that from private pensions. Talk about thieving from the poor.

And so onto the statement that the deficit has more than halved. Maybe it has, but borrowing has gone through the roof. What Dave seems to think is that borrowing is not a deficit. What ?. surely borrowing is a deficit ?.
As Dave cannot fathom it, here is a simple explanation.

You have an overdraft of £38Bn & a loan of £50Bn. Total debt (deficit) = £80Bn.
You reduce overdraft to £19bn, but increase the loan to ££1Tn. How much do you now owe ?. A hell of a lot more than you started with, thats for sure.

'We have not cut spending on the NHS'. No, but then again you have not increased it either. So in real terms as everything else goes up by the rate of inflation, the amount given to the NHS remains the same, so they can buy less. Looks like a funding cut to me.

It's about time we, the nation, put this idiot to the sword (quite literally) and put control back into the hands of the people.
