Only 10 til the rest of my household disappear for a mini-break. I'm really looking forward to 5 days of not being told that I'm useless and lazy.
The job hunting still has yet to bear fruit, although I have a good chance of a position at a factory in Clacton. To be honest, I don't want to go back to working in a factory, but the money sounds good, and it will do until a better-paid job closer to home comes-up.
Have put-in 2 more applications today, one of which is just round the corner from my old firm. If I ended-up working there it would be quite ironic really.
Popped-round rens' the other day, he even made me a cup of tea and a slice of cheese on toast. He's going to have a go at being a self-employed handyman. Having seen the quality of his work, I doubt he will have much trouble finding work.
If ren's empire takes-off, poor Peachey will no longer be able to sit in ren's living room ogling the girlies as they come and go from the College.
Am seriously looking at running my van on waste vegetable oil as this would effectively reduce my fuel cost to £0.00 . Was also looking at doing the same to my Astra, but as that is on its last legs, have decided not to pursue that any further. Have now started looking-out for a cheap non-common rail or HDi diesel engined vehicle with a suitable fuel pump.
